Golf is a physical game, the aim of the golf swing is to repeat a co-ordinated sequence of muscle activation to produce a fluid movement. Unfortunately the majority of people have physical limitations that makes learning how to swing a golf club harder than it should be. The problem is that not many people know what exercises to do to correct their limitations and therefore maximise their golfing potential.

Cannon Golf has now teamed up with Chris Laing, a golf conditioning specialist who has worked with the Leadbetter Academy, 3D Systems and golf professionals.Chris will be able to identify your limitations and through specific stretches and exercises improve your mobility, stability and power.

We are planning a 6 week course to include group sessions with Chris at Energie gym in Forest Hill and alternate individual lessons with Jon Bird at the Golf Studio in Sydenham.

The first course will be starting early March and places will be limited. Let us know if you are interested in participating and make 2010 your best golf year ever.
