Friday 11th July saw our latest golf event played over the beautifully presented West Kent Golf Club. With a stiff breeze, slick greens and rough worthy of jungle status, good scoring proved less than easy. It was a close fought contest for the top 3 spots, with the winner decided by countback.
Young Sam Golle came in with 29 points to take 3rd place leaving 2 tied for top spot on 31 points. But with a better back 9, piping the ever consistant Pat McGuinness, Richard Rostant claimed the first prize.
I was in Richard's fourball and it was great to see the improvement in his game through the lessons and the practice he has put in, a deserving winner.
